That comment from me didn't make a lot of sense. From what I can see, he's still fully within his working years and doesn't need any help from me. I'm probably thinking in terms of my friend Suzanne who's had a man move in with her. It's a mystery to all of us as to who pays for what, but they currently just eat together and send out political tweets. He's also her date for political events.
Mike texted me that he's currently mowing his own (3) acres. He has to work a half-day on Sunday, and then we can go to Tractor Supply. That's a busy guy! It will be interesting to hear what he does. He sure knows how to manage properties! That's something that really intrigues me. I've love to put him in a role that I Eric to have, except that my ideas for house-flipping haven't been able to afford a full-time handyman.
If I were to eventually hook up with this guy, and ultimately if property was passed on, then the two of us, together, would have two townhouses and three single family (1.5 acres, 1.8 acres, and 3 acres). -- And on those properties, it might be possible to add at least one more house or tiny house. There could end up with a medium-sized business. The "holdings" could even accommodate his Mother and my Mother (I have a potentially convertible garage)
The interesting aspect of this is that it's already come up. He's looked at my garage as to how to convert it. He had already previously suggested to his Mother that she add a tiny house for the purposes of an Air BnB renter. We seem to be of a similar mindset, and his MOther has already been a landlord for many years, so it's not something new in the household.
